MOGAN village

A five-minute walk from Casa la Maquina you will find a small but cozy village where the most notable monument is the 19th-century church of San Antonio de Padua, which combines traditional and neoclassical forms with a carved wooden coffered ceiling. Surrounding the temple are various buildings with a traditional Canarian aesthetic.

Los azulejos de Venegera

Los Azulejos de Veneguera

They are located on the GC-200 road that runs through the Mogán ravine. There are several places to park your car. It is definitely worth the climb up here, not only for the «Los azulejos» themselves, but also for the view of the canarian landscape.
Many millions of years ago when the Tejeda volcano erupted, the volcanic lava, upon coming into contact with the atmosphere, found a humid environment and was saturated with gaseous emanations. This saturation of the atmosphere led to the alternation of the mineral composition of the rocks with which it comes into contact.

PUERTO and PLAYA de MOGAN

This beautiful place is also called the little Canarian Venice. Beautiful romantic streets among white two-story houses, entwined with colorful bugambilia will not leave anyone indifferent. We recommend walking along the promenade and, of course, lying on a small, but such a cozy beach.

MOLINO DE VIENTO

This windmill has been located in the middle of the Barranco de Mogán since the 19th century, giving its name to the neighbourhood closest to the municipal capital, Molino de Viento.

An architectural symbol highly appreciated by the local population, and a reference to the agricultural past of the Mogán Valley, this ethnographic element gives the landscape of the Barranco an additional heritage value.
